Tucked away in the unspoilt Eden Valley, Drybeck Farm offers a camping experience that honours the land it stands on. Our riverside meadow welcomes respectful campers seeking slow living, wild swimming, and meaningful connection to nature.
With no designated pitches, no bustling tourist crowds, and no compromise on peace, campers enjoy the freedom to unwind amidst native wildflowers, red squirrels, and the quiet flow of the River Eden.
We welcome tents and campervans (of modest size), but ask that guests travel lightly—leaving no trace and taking great care. Campfires are allowed in raised fire pits, and we offer lovingly restored eco-loos and a rustic shower block with views through the trees.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome too—this is a place where all creatures are treated kindly, and the land is protected above all else.

Stay in one of our six riverside glamping spaces — each with its own wood-fired hot tub — or pitch up in our peaceful camping meadow. You’ll have access to eco-friendly facilities, direct river access for wild swims, and wide open space to unwind.

Enjoy the freedom to explore, connect with friendly animals, and relax in our creative barn space, where events and music often bring guests together. Our herb garden and veg plot offer homegrown touches, while optional extras like fizz or breakfast hampers can be added on request.

Keep an eye out — or check our wildlife cameras — for barn owls, otters, hedgehogs and even ospreys. They love it here, too.

To complement our well-loved glamping experiences, we now welcome guests to enjoy classic camping in a beautiful riverside meadow.
Set in the heart of the Eden Valley, this field offers just 10 generously spaced pitches, perfect for tents or smaller campervans (up to 6 metres).
There’s no reception, no clubhouse and certainly no Wi-Fi — just birdsong, open sky, and space to breathe.

Each pitch comes with its own fire pit, ideal for evenings under the stars.
The River Eden is just a few steps away — perfect for wild swims, gentle paddles, or peaceful riverside picnics. Children can roam freely, play safely, and rediscover what simple outdoor fun feels like.
