At Drybeck

At Drybeck

Although we have the Lake District and the North Pennines on our doorstep there is much to do in and around Drybeck. You could simply relax by the river or take a stroll through the woods.

There are ideal spots along the local section of the river for wild swimming.

The Eden Valley is great cycling country, with many miles of quiet lanes and byways; we can arrange cycle hire and suggest routes.

There are also plenty of walking routes, whether down the river towards Wetheral or upstream to Armathwaite and the ancient rock carvings in the Eden Gorge, Coombe Woods, or around High Stand.

And at the end of the day, why not relax under the stars in onre of our hot-tubs.  Our 2 wooden cabins, The Wigloo and The Lantern house have their own private wood fired hot tubs alongside them.  If you are staying in either of our Gypsy Caravans or The Yurt we have another wood fired hot tub on site which can accommodate up to 6 people and can be hired out for your own exclusive use. For more information on the pricing, booking and use of the hot tubs visit our FAQ’s page

  •   We stayed in the Evelyn living wagon and had a lovely relaxed weekend, so peaceful and great distance between other accomodations. Steve was great and really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning very soon and trying the wigloo out.
